Nice. Where'd you get your inspiration?

I spent a lot of time at the museum when I was little and I still make a point to go regularly. A friend of mine who knows a little more of the science behind dinosaurs told me there were no grasses back then which is why I've painted mostly spiky leaves and ferns.

Another beautiful piece! I love the mood in this as well as the soft quality.

But there happens to have been a long-necked stegosaur, look up Miragaia!

I have a stegosaurus almost complete, but I'm afraid I made his neck too long :(

What did you use? And I vote Parasauralophus! It was always my favorite!

Just to clarify, there were no pencils over anything. I drew the T-rex on the board(in pencil) then painted over the sketch with acrylics.

Pencils over acrylics. Parasauralophus, A.K.A. the very famous dinosaur, is a very likely candidate.

Wow, that's awesome! I really like the colors you used on this, along with the jungle and that old fashion almost fantastical looking T.Rex, it make it look like that images of the african and asian jungles despicted in colonial time illustrations. LOVE IT!

I want to do a series and make it into a calendar or art book.

Any thoughts on which dinosaur I should do next?

That will be a really good idea!!
Well, maybe you could do a herbivore next. Like the Parasaurolophus or Amargosaurus next?
